Front Range CASA: Be the Voice They Deserve

Every Child Deserves a Champion.

Imagine being a child without a voice, navigating the chaos of a life uprooted by abuse or neglect. This is the reality for so many children in our community. At Front Range CASA, we believe every child deserves a champion—someone to stand by their side, fight for their best interests, and ensure their voice is heard.

Serving Glacier, Pondera, Teton, and Toole counties on the Front Range, our mission is simple but powerful: to give children a brighter future through advocacy and care.

If not you - who? If not now - when?

What Is CASA

What Is CASA?

A CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) is a trained community volunteer appointed by a judge to advocate for a child in the foster care system.

  • Visit the child regularly to build trust and provide support.
  • Investigate their unique circumstances by talking to caregivers, teachers, and doctors.
  • Report their findings and recommendations to the court to ensure the child’s best interests are always the priority.
“CASA volunteers don’t just represent a child in court—they become a lifeline, helping to guide children through one of the most challenging times in their lives.”
– Kiersta Sullivan, Executive Director

Through compassion, commitment, and advocacy, CASA volunteers make an immeasurable difference in a child’s journey toward safety and stability.

Why CASA Matters

The Challenge

When children enter the foster care system, they face unimaginable uncertainty—new homes, new schools, and often, a revolving door of unfamiliar faces. Without someone to guide and support them, their futures can feel uncertain and unstable.

The CASA Solution

That’s where CASA comes in. Our trained volunteers become the one consistent, caring presence in a child’s life. They:

  • Speak up in court to ensure the child’s needs are prioritized.
  • Advocate for stable, loving placements.
  • Provide emotional support during one of the hardest times of their young lives.
“I’ve had many people come and go in my life, but my CASA volunteer never left. She believed in me when no one else did.”
– A CASA Program Youth
